All the present names of the streets, avenues and public ways, within the corporate limits of the city, as heretofore used and the designations thereof formerly applied to said streets, avenues, and public ways, and whether the same have been fixed by dedication of plats as the same appear on file in the office of the County Recorder of Chisago County, or by common consent or otherwise, are hereby revoked, set aside, and extinguished.
